In what can only be considered the dumbest programming move I can think of since the invention of television, the execs at the Game Show Network (GSN) have apparently decided not to bring back their highest rated program ever.
It appears that High Stakes Poker (HSP) will not be back on GSN. When GSN announced the acquirement of the World Poker Tour (WPT), the announcement spoke of how WPT was the perfect companion show to HSP. Now, it appears that GSN will produce no new episodes of HSP to televise with the new WPT events. Saying that is stupid is an insult to stupid people everywhere. I can only hope that ESPN (ESPN) will pick up the production of HSP and blow GSN out of the water. Well, I could also hope that this is an April Fool's Day joke gone horribly wrong.
